I love travelling, photography, and freedom.
Hello,
I am a certified Iyengar yoga teacher at Level 1, training for Level 2. I’m a photographer, a former engineer and mum of twins in my daily life.
I started my yoga journey in 2002 in Russia at a dancing school. When I moved to the UK in 2010, I tried all different yoga methods and fell in love with Iyengar yoga. I loved that all classes were different and so unpredictable. It was exciting for me to do all the postures and have fun. I regularly attended Pilar Vigus' class at David Lloyd sports club, and in 2012 joined classes at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Birmingham, where I was taught by Andrew Hall (Senior Iyengar teacher Level I) and Jayne Orton (Advanced level Iyengar teacher).
My interest in Iyengar yoga gradually started increasing. I was visiting yoga workshops and gained knowledge from local Iyengar yoga teachers. I was enthusiastic to learn and go deeper with self-study and Iyengar yoga philosophy.
In February 2016 I started Introduction Iyengar Yoga Teaching training under Jayne Orton’s guidelines and enjoyed every second of it. It was a great learning time and one of the best experiences in my life. In June 2018, I successfully passed the yoga exam and started to teach on the same day when my diploma arrived.
Yoga for me is a great fun and cheerful practice. It gives me a sense of life balance and internal peace, which I was seeking.
It’s my joy, fulfillment, and happiness. I feel challenged and free doing yoga asanas.
Yoga gives me confidence and strength. It opens my mind and allows me to look at the situation from a different angle. Like in Sirsasana, I see the world from a new perspective. It helps me to step back and deal with difficult situations.
Yoga is my life. I am absolutely in love with the after-effect it provides and the opportunities to improve my practice every day. It makes me relaxed and I truly enjoy its process.
I’m feeling so fortunate to share my knowledge with you and be your provider.
I think yoga is the best investment and treasure that you can present to yourself.
«Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame.»
